Where does the time go? Wasn’t it just yesterday that my little baby girl was being born? Neva is 1 1/2 years old and going on 13 years. She is sassy, adventurous and oh so much trouble. I wouldn’t have her any other way.
Look at the innocent smile!
Remy is 4! He is methodical, sensitive and a little bit sneaky. He can often be found sneaking out of his room in the middle of the night to grab a late night snack.
Remy is excited to decorate the Christmas tree.
Between the constant kid corralling and refereeing toy ownership disputes, I have found time to quilt! I want to share just a few of my favorite quilts from 2014.
I have such a soft spot for adorable baby quilts.
This quilt exemplifies clean lines and colors.
This stunning quilt was made from fabrics collected in Africa. Amazing!
I know that 2015 will bring more colorful and artistic quilt creations. I can’t wait to see what you create this year!
One week ago, Miss Neva Colette entered the world!
I’m recovering well and Neva is enjoying her naps. I plan on getting back to work in May. Feel free to give me a call anytime after May 6th.
As most of you know, I’m expecting my second child at the end of April. The kicks from little feet and jabs from elbows is a constant reminder that the end of April is coming soon!
I will be excepting quilts until April 15th. I hope to be back to a “semi-functional” stage around May 1st. If you want to have something quilted in May just give me a call to set up an appointment. You will probably get a chance to meet the new little one too!
Thanks to my wonderful customers, this has been the busiest January since I started quilting!
In between quilts, I wanted to share one of my favorite baby quilts from last year. It is colorful, playful and even has ric-rac trim as roads.
Just wanted to share some recent quilts made by my talented customers.
Hope these colorful quilts inspire!
Just wanted to share this free quilt pattern from one of my favorite bloggers. Ashley Williamson of Film In The Fridge has an inspirational blog with many clean and modern designs. She has her own quilting style that is worth checking out.
If anyone is feeling ambitious, try her quilt pattern, Unfurnished. Let me know how it turns out.
Modern quilt from the book “Quilts: 30 Colorful Quilt and Patchwork Projects” by Denyse Schmidt
I was rearranging my sewing space and I found this quilt that I had started last summer. What an exciting find! This week I will add a large gray border and get it quilted. Once it is finished, I will share it with you!
